| Composition: |
 |
| Each scored tablet contains Tamoxifen
citrate equivalent to 10 mg Tamoxifen. |

| Indications: |
 |
 |
Anovulatory female infertility: |
| |
In women with regular menstrual
cycles:
20 mg daily for 5 successive days starting
the second day of menstruation. If ovulation
is not achieved, further courses may be
given in subsequent cycles with increasing
the daily dose to 40 mg then 80 mg per day.
In case of amenorrhea or irregular
menstrual cycles:
The treatment course is started any day
for 5 successive days, and if ovulation
is not acheived, the course is repeated
with a higher dose - as mentioned above
- afte a 45-day interval.
(Pregnancy
should be excluded before starting therapy)
N.B. The daily doses could be given in two
divided doses. |

Idiopathic oligospermia: |

20 mg daily. Since spermatogenesis and full
sperm maturation take in average 3 months-treatment,
results will not appear before a similar period.
The usual treatment course is 2 years, or
until pregnancy is achieved. |

| Side
Effects: |
 |
| Tamoxifen is very well
tolerated and side effects are unusual. However
hot flushes and mild gastrointestinal intolerance,
have been rarely reported in females. |

| Contra-Indications: |
 |
| Pregnancy - Hypersensitivity
to tamoxifen. |
 |
 |
