Dispercam
Gel is a topical preparation
with potent anti- inflammatory,
antirheumatic and analgesic
properties. Its active ingredient,
Piroxicam, is a nonsteroidal,
anti-inflammatory drug, which
strongly inhibits prostaglandin
synthesis. Dispercam Gel is
suitable for the treatment of
inflammatory and degenerative
rheumatic diseases, as well
as for use in painful conditions
due to inflammation of non-rheumatic
origin, and in post-traumatic
pain
Dispercam
Gel contains a skin-penetration
enhancer which greatly increases
the rate and extent of Piroxicam
penetration through the stratum
corneum to the underlying viable
tissues, with less chances for
enzymatic degradation, thereby
achieving high local concentrations
in these tissues. Thus, with
Dispercam Gel, potent and rapid
anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic
and analgesic actions at the
affected area are assured.
Dispercam
Gel is particularly recommended
for the athletics as well as
the elderly and debilitated
patients where the direct gastro-intestinal
side effects are avoided and
systemic adverse reactions are
minimized.
