Each oblong white sustained-release
tablet (daytime) contains:

Night and Day is a well balanced
combination as follows: |

The oblong white sustained-release tablet
(daytime) contains: |

- Paracetamol, which
has antipyretic and analgesic actions.
- Phenylpropanolamine HCl
with a decongestant action which relieves
nasal congestion.

The round yellow tablet (night time) contains: |
| |
- Paracetamol, which
has antipyretic and analgesic actions.
- Diphenhydramine HCl,
which is an antihistaminic with an antitussive,
bronchial smooth muscle relaxant and sedative
actions.

| The night time
(yellow) tablet permits the convenient use
of diphenhydramine which allows a quiet sleep
during the night, while the daytime (white)
tablet avoids the use of diphenhydramine with
its sedative action, with possible drowsiness
and dizziness, which is undesirable during
daytime |

| Indications: |

 |
Common cold. |
 |
Influenza. |
 |
Spring catarrh, Rhinorrhea. |
 |
Other nasal congestive inflammatory
conditions such as allergic rhinitis. |

 |
| Contraindications: |
 |
 |
Hypersensitivity to any component of the
preparation. |
 |
Pregnant and nursing women. |
|
 |
 |
| Adverse Reactions: |
 |
| Very rarely (and usually mild) skin
rashes and palpitations. Sedation and dizziness
may occur after the intake of the yellow (night)
tablet. In this case it is not advisable for patients
who drive or operate machinery at night. Therefore
the yellow tablet is recommended at bedtime. |

| Precautions: |
 |
 |
Caution should be taken with patients suffering
from hyperthyroidism, hypertension, coronary
insufficiency and diabetes mellitus. |
 |
It should not be used concurrently with
MAO inhibitors . It may be used after two
weeks of stopping the MAO inhibitor-therapy. |

| Dosage: |

| Adults: |
one oblong white tablet
for daytime, preferably after
breakfast and
one round yellow tablet at
bedtime. |
| Children: |
not recommended for children under 12 years
of age. |

| How Supplied: |
 |
| Blister-strip pack containing 5 oblong
white sustained-release tablets for daytime and
5 round yellow film-coated tablets for night time. |
