Calcium Deficiency is a Probelm in Children:

Studies have shown the presence of rickets in 12% of Egyptian children.(1,2)
The etiology of rickets is related to low calcium intake. (3)
Calcium deficiency can cause osetomalacia in children.(4)
Low calcium intake in children may be associated with histologic picture of severe osteomalacia and probably accounts for for the low growth rate of those children.(1)
Defective calcium intake causes severe bone lesions and rickets inspite of adequate vitamin D supply.(6)
Low calcium intake causes a high rate of utilization and metabolism of vitamin D, leading to negative vitamin D balance inspite of adequate supply.(1)
Calcium Requirement:
The highest requirements for calcium are during infancy and adolescence.(6)
Adequate amount of calcium spplement rapidly improves bone minerlaization.(4)

Hi-Cal daily corrects the negative balance and alleviates the risks.

Hi-Cal is effective in the prevention and treatment of rickets.

Hi-Cal is the palatable and rapidly absorbable calcium supplement for the prevention and treatment of rickets.
